As you and your family journey through life, you may occasionally need to access to the sacraments of the Church. We are here to help you ensure that you can book your special occasion, or get the special support that you may need, to ensure things run as smoothly as possible. For availability, please get in contact with the parish priest.

Weddings
If you would like to celebrate the sacrament of marriage the local church. There are Please contact the Priest who can help you to book and arrange the church for your special day. He will also help to understand the requirements for marriage.
Baptism
The sacrament of Baptism is open to both infants and adults. To book an infant baptism, please contact the priest for availability. Adult Baptism usually takes place during the Easter vigil. Please contact the priest to discuss your requirements.
Sacrament of sick/ first Friday visits
The parish has a sacrament of the sick whereby the Priest or an appointed Eucharistic Minister distribute communion and the sacrament of the sick to those who need it. This is often described as the first Friday visits. If you want to arrange a visit for yourself, or a friend, or relative then please get in contact. Occasionally there may be a need to administer last rites. If this is required please contact the priest to to see if there is availability.
Funerals
Funerals are usually arranged by the Funeral Director. However, the priest can be reached through the contact section.
Confirmation
There are typically two confirmation journeys. Youth confirmation, and Adult confirmation. Youth confirmation often happens when the candidate is at school age, and is typically arranged as part of the pastoral activities of the school. If, for whatever reason, you require confirmation and can not access it through the usual school route (e.g. for baptised pupils who attend other schools, or for people who have been baptised later in life. Then it may be necessary to avail of confirmation through the adult confirmation route. If you need adult conirmation please contact the priest.
Holy Orders/ Priesthood
Occasionally, people may be called into the service of God. If you believe that you have a calling towards the holy orders. The priesthood is suitable for men, but there are also options for women who feel a calling towards service of the church. Please contact the Vocations Officer for the Diocese to arrange an informal chat.
